STATEMENT

Gaelle Hintzy-Marcel creates sculptures that explore balance, movement, and human connection.

Working with materials as diverse as steel, wood, pewter, resin, plaster, and textile, she combines their contrasting qualities to create tension, dialogue, and unexpected forms. Each material brings its own character, history, and energy to the work.

Moving between figurative and abstract forms, her sculptures evoke pathways, relationships, femininity, resilience, and the fragile balance that shapes our lives.

Deeply influenced by her experiences living across France, Indonesia, Russia, India, and the United States, her work invites interaction through touch, movement, light, and shadow.

Above all, she seeks to create sculptures that convey a sense of positivity, curiosity, and connection, encouraging viewers to engage with the work and discover their own reflections within it.
